Last week, my husband and I walked through the cemetery where some of his family members are laid to rest. We often do that. It occurred to me that a cemetery has to be one of the most peaceful places to visit. We approached the grave we were visiting and disturbed a tiny fawn who was sleeping under a nearby tree. It stood and looked at us for quite a while, then was gone.
This got me thinking about life itself. Compared to eternity our time on earth is short. I pondered my own life.
Sometimes it seems it was only yesterday that I was a child and now I’m a grandma. Oh well I must keep on keeping on while I’m still here. So back to that next book:)
